Global Voices recently held its biannual Summit in Nairobi, Kenya bringing together over 300 bloggers and social activists from around the world. The Summit gives members of the Global Voices community a rare chance to meet in person and solidify relationships that are often mostly built in the virtual world, to reflect on their work and to chart the future direction of the community. The Summit is also a forum to share experiences with a wider group on topics ranging from how small African nations can grab the world's attention to the global rise of Citizen media.
