In Ethiopia, founded by Mohamed Elmi , Jesh Fresh Meat's:

...main objective is to establish an international-standard abattoir and livestock fattening facility...the first shipment of meat is expected to commence by January 2013.At full production capacity, JESH PLC will be holding animal stock of over 45,000 animals and over 5,000 cattle and will be slaughtering 1,500 small stock and 150 cattle per shift. We expect to export about 20 MT of chilled red meat and about 25 MT frozen red meat per day. JESH PLC will also be exporting live animals and has interested buyers from Middle Eastern importers of red meat and live animals. via Capital Ethiopia
