Shaka King's 'Newlyweeds' Picked Up By Phase 4 Films For Summer Release

Announced via press release this evening, Phase 4 Films has acquired all North American rights to Shaka King's Newlyweeds, which made its world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival last week, in the NEXT <=> section. The gritty, stoner romantic dramedy, King's feature film debut, stars Amari Cheatom and newcomer Trae Harris, in addition to Isiah Whitlock, Colman Domingo, Tonya Pinkins, Diane Neal, Adrian Martinez and Hassan Johnson.
