Patients, Hospitals and the Blood Bank Racket
The call to donate blood has been going out more frequently in the country in recent times, especially as terrorists attacks continue unabated. As more citizens donate blood and even more Nigerians need it to save their lives, DAVID ADUGE-ANI writes that loopholes in the laws guarding the process are being exploited by many hospitals to fleece desperate patients.
