EU council targets two unnamed individuals who it says are obstructing the peace process and responsible for atrocities
The EU has imposed travel bans and asset freezes on two South Sudanese military leaders it says have been violating ceasefire agreements put in place to stop fighting that has killed thousands.
The EU council did not name the leaders or specify which sides they were on. The US has taken similar measures against leaders from each side.
