The UN Development Programme chief will be online to answer your questions on poverty, war, the climate and gender equality

The UN Development Programme (UNDP) fights poverty and gender inequality, helps to build democratic societies, and deals with crisis prevention and recovery in more than 170 countries.

Each year it compiles a human development report and index, which ranks human wellbeing by measuring inequality, education, life expectancy and income. The UNDP's latest study focuses on increasing the resilience of the world's poorest people, many of whom reside in strife-stricken states.
