Prize winning innovators:

Gaironesa Clayton and Chad Atkins, were recognized for their design titled R3. Their prototype is a mechanism that uses old newspaper and turns it into a briquette which replaces firewood, promotes recycling and helps solve the problem of deforestation...If "R3" takes off, it could be a useful tool to slow down the rate of deforestation in Africa where most people use firewood to cook
