The historic US-Africa Summit held August 4-6, 2014 in Washington, D.C. was a landmark event for the United States in its efforts to more comprehensively and strategically engage Africa. Going forward, the questions are how do we build on the event, what are the elements of the US-Africa relationship that America would need to help further address, including the challenges and helping the Region capitalize on the positives.
