In 1989, world leaders signed up to the UN convention on the rights of the child, enshrining in international law the principle that all children should be entitled to basic rights including a name and nationality, education, healthcare and protection in times of war. A quarter of a century on, we approached Unicef to find out from children around the world what rights were most important to them.
