Whether their service came in times of peace or in times of war, those in the military make numerous sacrifices so that the rest of us can live our lives devoid of the burden of fighting for our freedoms. This year Veterans Day falls on Sunday, November 11th with the federal holiday being observed on Monday, November 12th.
