With "Scandal" quite potential a season or 2 away from ending its run on ABC (creator Shonda Rhimes hinted at this recently, stating, "It's not a 10-season or eight-season show. I've already decided how long that is and what that's going to be"), I can imagine that the series cast members, specifically its star, actress Kerry Washington, must be prepping for life after "Scandal," in such a competitive environment, especially for black actresses, given how little work (good work) there is for them, both in film and TV.
